this much amount you can send through upi in a single day know the daily limit

UPI Daily Limit: There was a time when people had to go to the bank if they had to send money to someone’s account. The receipt had to be filled and deposited in the bank. Had to stand in line. Had to run around a lot. But now all this has become a game of jokes. In the digital era, money is easily transferred through net banking. But a big change has happened here with the arrival of UPI. Where just enter the phone number and the money reaches the linked account within seconds. The government of UPI has set a limit on how much money you can transfer in a day. Let us know what this limit is.

What is the daily limit of UPI?

Nowadays people do not go to banks to transfer money. And very few people transfer money to another account using net banking. Now the most used one is Unified Payment Interface i.e. UPI. But if you want to send a lot of money to someone immediately, you will not be able to send it through UPI.

The daily limit of UPI is 1 lakh. Google Pay, PhonePe, Amazon Pay and many other pay apps are running for UPI in India. Imagine if you send one lakh from one app, you will send another lakh from the other. So this cannot happen. UPI is the same, where if you have created ID in any number of apps with one number, the total limit for all will be Rs 1 lakh.

India is at the forefront in terms of UPI

UPI was launched in India in the year 2016. And now UPI system is running in other countries of the world apart from India. Apart from India, UPI system runs in countries like France, UAE, Singapore, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Oman, Qatar, Russia and Mauritius. UPI is operated by National Payments Corporation of India i.e. NPCI. According to a figure, in India in the year 2022, transactions worth 1.53 trillion dollars were done through UPI.
